A Momentous Day Hiking Picnic, with the Himalaya View Treks Team to Surya Chaur.
On behalf of the entire team members of the Himalaya View Treks, myself Dipesh Khatri Chhetry is delighted to share this passionate story of the picnic and thank the owner Mr. Simbir Ghale for organizing the splendid event for us.
The Himalayas have always been a paradise for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Amidst the towering peaks and breathtaking landscapes, the team members of Himalaya View Treks embarked on a day hiking picnic to Surya Chaur. The journey, filled with camaraderie and excitement, brought together owners, trekking guides, porters, Sherpas, friends, and family. After a two-hour hike from Shanti Dham, Kavresthali, they reached the picturesque picnic site, Surya Chaur, where they reveled in the beauty of the Himalayas and celebrated the culmination of their trekking and climbing season.
With a sense of anticipation in the air, the team members gathered at the meeting point in Shanti Dham. The group was diverse, comprising both female and male trekking guides, experienced Sherpas, dedicated porters, and enthusiastic friends and family members of the Himalaya View Treks team. Excitement permeated the atmosphere as they set off on their hiking adventure, their backpacks laden with food, water, and essential supplies.

The journey from Shanti Dham to Surya Chaur took the team approximately two hours. The trail meandered through lush forests, charming villages, and verdant meadows. The seasoned trekking guides shared their knowledge of the local flora and fauna, enlightening everyone with interesting anecdotes and stories about the region. The camaraderie amongst the group grew stronger with each step, as they bonded over shared experiences and the shared love for the mountains.
As the team reached Surya Chaur, they were greeted by a sight that took their breath away. Nestled amidst the majestic cascading hills, the picnic spot offered awe-inspiring views that stretched as far as the eye could see. The group quickly settled down and enjoyed the food that was waiting for them prepared by the catering. The cooking team was already there waiting for the team to arrive after hiking. Laughter and conversation filled the air as everyone took a moment to soak in the tranquillity and grandeur of their surroundings.
