Chulu East Climbing – 16 Days
6584 M. Chulu East rises above the desert of Manang Valley which is a part of Damodar Himalayan range. Chulu East Peak climbing offers magnificent views of the mountains such as the Annapurna II, Annapurna III and IV, Gangapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Manaslu. The yak pastures, diverse range of flora and fauna and beautiful villages settled by friendly and warm-hearted Sherpas, their culture traditions etc. along the route to the base camp enchants every climber who climb this peak.
You climb the peak from the North-East Ridge which is the normal route to climb this peak from a Base Camp. It is not technically difficult; however it requires the solid snow climbing skills as well as the strong physical fitness of the of the climbers. you need to be familiar with the use of the equipments like crampons, harness, ice axe, tying knots and handling climbing ropes.
The journey to the Chulu East peak climbing begins with the scenic drive to Besisahar from Kathmandu through the Prithivi highway. From Besisahar which is the starting point of the popular Annapurna circuit trail, you walk through the Marsyangdi river bank following the Annapurna circuit trekking trail until Chame. You pass the waterfalls and rice terraces enjoying the spectacular views of Mt. Lamjung and Annapurna III.
Chulu East Peak Climbing – A pride of Manang region
We also cross different ethnic settlements of Gurung, Magar, Sherpa where you can explore their culture and lifestyle enjoying their greeting and friendly behavior. Then you head to Chulu east base camp crossing the Pisang village. You can also combine this journey to the Muktinath where you visit holy Muktinath Temple and Kagbeni where lies one monastery belonging to 15th century. You also cross the high passes while trekking to Muktinath. The best time for Chulu east peak climbing is from March to May and September to November.

During Chulu East Peak climbing Trek to Everest view provides short climbing training if needed, experienced climbing guides, good accommodations and foods, well trained cooks and luxury camp during campaigning stay.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Chame
Day 02: Trek from Chame to Pisang
Day 03: Trek from Pisang to Ngawal
Day 04: Rest day at Ngawal for acclimatization
Day 05: Trek from Ngawal, to Chulu East base camp
Day 06: Trek from Chulu base camp to High camp
Day 07: Rest day at high camp for acclimatization.
Day 08: Summit to the Chulu East Peak and back to Base Camp.
Day 09: Trek from Chulu East Base camp to Manang
Day 10: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka
Day 11: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi
Day 12: Trek from Trong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong-La pass
Day 13: Trek from Muktinath to Kagbeni
Day 14: Trek from Kagbeni to Jomsom
Day 15: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara.
Day 16: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
