Bungee jumping is another adventurous sport available in Nepal.
The ultimate thrill of a bungee jump can be experienced in Nepal. It is above the Bhotekoshi gorge which is the world’s second deepest gorge. Nepal’s first and only bungee jumping site is situated 160m over the wild Bhote Koshi River. In fact it is close to the Nepal-Tibet border in Sindhupalchowk district. The jumping site above 160m from Bhotekoshi River was designed by one of New Zealand’s leading bungee consultants. However, it is operated by some of the most experienced jump masters of Nepal.
The bridge is designed by Swiss expert especially for bungee jumping with a 4x safety factor. The bridge has a loading factor of 250 kg per running meter. This means that the bridge will hold 250 x 166 = 41,500kg or 4.5 tones and those are Swiss measurements, over 6000 meters of steel wire was used to build the bridge. After three hours bus journey from Kathmandu you can reach to Bhotekoshi gorge. Anyone who is courageous can conduct bungee jumping though jump master will make blood pressure, weight and heart checkup before you jump.

You will be 160m above from the River, when you see below your heart stop to bit, when jump master says jump you can’t and he will push from behind at that time you will forget your legs are locked by the cords after reaching below you will feel that you will get second life.
