Everest Base camp VS Annapurna Base camp trek: EBC or ABC Both Trekking areas are most popular in Nepal and we would love to recommend ABC as well EBC because naturally and culturally Everest Region or Annapurna Region both are very reachable but altitude is quite different so altitude of Everest base Camp is ( 5364 mt. ) and Annapurna Base camp is ( 4130 mt. ) so if you are first time planning to do Trekking in Nepal and have not done over 3000mt then your body need to acclimatize to do Everest Base Camp Trek but Annapurna Base camp is not a necessary for acclimatization I mean you need a little bit long days to success Everest Base Camp or Annapurna Base camp Trek if you are first time trekking in Himalaya.
I have been trekking with Simbir in the Everest area (Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar) during October 2012. I can only recommend Simbir hardly enough. He is a super good guide. He has many years of experience doing trekkings around Nepal, and he is extremely prepared for doing your trip, the best trip in the world.
Besides that, I have passed really good moments with him. He is always smiling and happy, so it is easy to be always in a good mood even during the hardest part of the trekking.
If I would do another trekking in Nepal, without any doubts, I will choose Simbir as my guide again and again.
